CDG train station

is it actually IN the airport ? I will be traveling from CDG to Bayeux. If the station is outside the airport, how much time should I allow to get there? I am putting the pieces to my trip together on my own. Any help is appreciated!

It's in the middle of the Terminal 2 complex on the lower level. You'll probably come into T2E. Come out of the arrivals hall, hang a left and go down. Five minutes for the walk, maybe, plus everwhat time it takes you to buy tickets - - which could be lengthy since you'll be arriving with the morning herds. And for the rest of your question: the ticket you buy will get you into Paris and across town on the metro/ret to Gare St Lazare which is where you catch the train (new ticket) to Bayeux. CDG to Lazare will take right at an hour. And for the question you didn't ask: if you try to buy a cheapo advance ticket leaving St Lazare at a time less than three hours after your scheduled landing, you will have screwed up.

ParisByTrain has a great 'photo guide' to get you from Terminal 2 (for instance; search the website for leaving Terminal 1) to the TGV and RER stations. Notice this tutorial is actually geting you to Gare du Nord, but never mind - the point is finding the CDG train station and where to buy your Grande Lignes tickets, etc. http://parisbytrain.com/paris-airport-terminal-2-train-photo-tour/ Here is some info from the airport website... http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/Access-maps-car-parks/Paris-CDG/Access/public-transport/cdg-train.htm#a4
