If you're traveling light enough to easily schlepp your own luggage, the cheapest way to get to your hotel is to take the RER and Metro. Take the RER B line to Gare du Nord. Transfer to Metro line 4 and take it to Strasbourg-Saint-Denis. Transfer to Metro line 8 and take it to either La Tour Maubourg or Ecole Militaire. Fare: 8.20€.

Alternatively, take the Roissybus to Opera (8.60€). Then take a short taxi ride to your hotel. Or take Metro line 8 as above (1.50€).

To get to Gare du Nord to catch the Eurostar, do the reverse of what I listed above.

Hi Michelle- I would take the shuttles that Rick mentions in his books. There are 3 or 4. Golden Air is one, Paris Connection, and Paris shuttle. They should be reserved from here. You can do it or a travel agent. Then you call them from the phone at the airport. It is not expensive and a lot easier after a long flight.

Michelle,

Used Golden Air last July to Hotel Muguet.

After we got our luggage & called they met us at the designated area in 15 minutes.

No issues at all, I would use them again.

You have to be careful with luggage on the Metro, many steps in a lot of the stations, which can be a real pain.

Sorry, but another question, not an answer.

I've decided on the shuttle for various reasons (Don't want to drag around luggage between transfers on the train, safer, etc). However, we land at CDG at 22:00. Golden Air doesn't run that late. Paris Shuttle says that the driver's last pick up is at 23:00, but he'll wait for our us if our luggage takes a little while.

I'm hesitant to trust them. I imagine no one will answer the phone that late. Has any one used a shuttle that late?

Thanks,
Andy
