Okay - I’m excited about this. I’ve gotten used to CDG but Terminal 2 numbering/signage really is a mess.
Under such circumstances, the Terminal 1 retains its name, and then each terminal will be assigned a number in ascending order, from the terminal 1 to the terminal 7 . As for the boarding rooms, they will be identified by letters, once the checks have passed. ( https://www.voyages-d-affaires.com/paris-cdg-nouveau-nom-terminaux )
What is a 'boarding room' ?
The new names of Paris-CDG :
Terminal 1 remains Terminal 1 – boarding rooms S and R
Terminal 3 becomes Terminal 2 – boarding room V
Terminals 2A and 2C are grouped under the name Terminal 3 – boarding room F
Terminals 2B and 2D are grouped under the name Terminal 4 – boarding rooms G and H
Terminal 2E becomes Terminal 5 – boarding rooms B, C and D
Terminal 2F becomes Terminal 6 – boarding room E
Terminal 2G becomes Terminal 7 – boarding room N
