CDG Terminal 2c to Sentier Metro station area

Dear Team

We 2 families (5 adults and 3 children 11 yrs) are coming at CDG terminal 2c during mid may 2020 @8 pm.

I've to pick-up the physical Paris Museum pass from CDG terminal as I'll purchase it online beforehand - hope its possible.

What is the quickest and cheapest way to move to our hotel which is located near Sentier metro.

It would be great if someone can help me with the steps to follow.

Take two taxis. Follow the signage to the taxi line. Do not accept offers from anyone who approaches you. It will be 53€ per taxi. If you want to take mass transit, follow the signs that say Paris by Train to the RER B. Purchase 8 tickets to Paris and take the train to Gare du Nord. At Gare du Nord follow the signs to transfer to Line 5, direction Place d’Italie and take Line 5 and exit at Republique. At Republique follow the signs to Line 3, direction Pont de Levsllous-Becon and take Line 3 for 4 stops to Sentier. Another option is to exit the RER at Chatelet-les-Halles and walk. Depending on where you are with respect to the metro stop, it could be a 15 to 20 minute walk. You would use exit 3 from the station. You have chosen an area that requires either a relatively long walk with luggage or two connections to get there by mass transit from CDG so a taxi might be worth the extra 21€.

It may be obvious, but the detailed explanation of the RER/Metro routes above can be done all on the one ticket you purchase at CdG. So keep the ticket from start to finish. You use the ticket to exit the RER gates, and then to enter the Metro platforms. Even though the exit from the Metro is walk-through, keep the ticket to prove you paid the fare. Spot checks are active on the Metro and the fine for not carrying the appropriate ticket can sting. And if you are going to discard it once outside, please use a trash receptacle.
