CDG or Orly

We will be staying only a few days in paris before heading to Rome. Should we fly into CDG or OLRLY. What is the best mode of transportation to Rome?

Orly is closer to Paris than is CDG, making getting to Paris slightly faster and cheaper. However, the difference isn't all that great. Pick the airport for which you get the best flight times and prices.

I am flying into Paris staying a week , then flying to Rome to meet a RS tour.
I looked into serveral different transport options.
I ended up booking a flight with Vueling air, from Charles de Gaulle to Rome, for a total of 95 euros one way. This included a 5 euros booking fee, and a 5 euro suitcase fee.
The one thing I liked was the reviews I read about this discount airline, they use new planes and seem very reliable. Plus for me was CDG as it is an easy airport to get to, as opposed to Beauvais.
