CDG long layover

Have a question regarding terminal 2E at CDG. Wondering if anyone can tell me how late you can go through security to the gate area? My husband and I recently had 20 hour layover and used some of the time to go out and see Paris and when we returned spent the night on the "landside" area. Our daughter will be traveling the end of the month with a 14hour layover at CDG and would hope she could get to the more comfortable "airside" area of 2E. Granted at about 12:30am they did clear the terminal of the homeless as they went around with their muzzled rottweilers to see that you had a boarding card before they let you stay. At this time the terminal is under major construction which occurs at night. Extremely loud as you can imagine! I just feel it would be best if she could get out to the gate area but can't find information as to what time security is shut down and you are stuck in ticketing area.

That is ugly. I would consider a local hotel.

The Accor hotel chain has several hotels close by CDG. Accor offers free shuttle bus service between the hotels and the airport. The cheapest hotel is the hotelF1 Roissy Aéroport CDG PN 2. The rate can be as low as €37.00. Shared bathrooms are down the hall. The next cheapest is the ETAP HOTEL Roissy CDG Paris nord 2. The rate can be as low as €54.00. Bathrooms are ensuite.

Ok, she is looking to book a room at the less expensive one, which still looks quite nice. Anyone with any tips on getting from I believeTerminal 2G(arriving from Florence) to the shuttle stop and then from the shuttle stop in the morning to terminal 2E. Suggestion of how much time she should plan from leaving hotel to arriving at gate?
