CDG-Paris. Entry/exit was smooth & quick.
We arrived at 7am, fairly empty at that time. No EES fingerprinting, just scanned our passports & photo taken.

From my own experiences in early and mid-May this year and reading posts by travelers who have flown in/out of CDG, it doesn't seem like the EES kiosks are being used. This, then, begs the question whether "regular" passport control tracks passengers the same way EES is designed to do?

Marika, what terminal did you come in to?
I did have EES in April on arrival to 2E. The EES kiosks were closed in the departure lines I was channeled in to, again in 2E.

Thanks for the additional information. Arrival EES is sometimes different from Terminal to Terminal.
