I'm scheduling a flight home on a Sunday in September from Lyon to CDG with a transfer to Washington, DC, both flights on Air France. My preference is for a flight arriving at CDG at 230pm with transfer to a flight departing for Washington at 430pm. Is 2hrs enough time? Will I need to recheck luggage and go thru ticketing again? I do have an option of a flight arriving at CGG at 1230pm. Thank you
I am assuming you are buying this ticket from AF and that it's basically one ticket from Lyon to DC. (If you pay AF twice it's two tickets :) ) In that case AF will deal with your luggage and I think 2 hours will be fine. AF will check your documents etc in Lyon so you just transfer in CDG. While it's confusing just follow the signs and keep moving. (As a general rule a lot of people that missed thier flight in my experience stopped to "shop" right after then landed and then discovered it was much farther to gate X then they expected. My advice is always go directly to your next gate area AND then shop, eat, explore etc. : )
