CDG - current (Dec 2017) wait times in Terminal 2 for entry/passport control?

On trips to France, we have always entered the country through CDG after a non stop flight on Delta from Seattle. The flight arrives about 7:30 or 8:00 am. Our 2017 arrivals have been miserable. The problem in Sept 2017, at least one of the problems, was that there were only a few agents working. Most of the little glass booths were empty. Still CDG is the closest and easiest entry point for us, since we live in Reims.

I'm taking Delta 34 from Seattle to CDG on Christmas Day, arriving on the morning of Dec. 26, and getting the TGV to Reims. Has anyone traveled through CDG Terminal 2E this month? Or ever on the day after Christmas? I'm not sure I even want to know how long the waits are for non-EU passport control. Any current information on wait times and/or personal experiences would be appreciated. (I have a changeable ticket on the TGV in case I don't make it! )
Thanks!

I know you would like an answer but just don't see how anyone could give an answer with any reliability. Just too many factors. When we traveled in Germany the day after Christmas a couple of years ago, it was an absolutely zoo for the number of people moving about. With Christmas being essentially a long weekend this year, I assume Tuesday would be a massive travel day with everyone returning home or to work. Plan for the worse and you might be surprised. Good luck.

You might even get different answers from people who arrived on the same day within hours of each other.

When I flew out of CDG last May, I had heard horror stories about the long waits to get through security etc. so I arrived three hours early. I made it from arrival through the security interview, passport control, and security, plus the the shuttle on to my gate in an hour, and that included stopping at the Delta desk to change my flight, as my original had been delayed four hours. So I might have thought two hours would have been enough. But the gal sitting next to me on my flight out did arrive two hours early - and by then the lines had gotten long and she said she barely made her flight. Just in that hour between my arrival and hers, the airport got a lot busier.

Thanks for your replies! To be honest I was really hoping someone would say "Oh Good News!!! The entire staff at CDG passport control will be on duty 24/7 for the entire month of December!" It is good to know that others realize the whims and caprices of things like wait times. . . and that they probably can't be predicted.

Best to all and happy travels!
