CDG connection from FCO to PIT

We are flying from FCO to PIT with a 1 hr. 40 min connection time in CGD on Air France/Delta. Is it realistic to think that we will make this connection? I read that you should have at least 75 min but some people say that 3 hours is not enough!

Assuming your on time, it may be just enough; security is pretty stiff after you go through passport control, and the lines are long. I would go straight from my connection and not waste any time.
