CDG airport shuttle pick-up time

Does anyone know how long it generally takes to pick up luggage and go through immigration at CDG? I need to arrange a shuttle pick-up time. The plane lands at 10:45am.
thanks...

Hi, It may have been the RS Paris guide book that discouraged using a shuttle service on arrival. (Gave our book to our son so I can't confirm.). Reason is the uncertainty of arrival etc. The RS guide listed alternatives. We took the Air France coach to one of the train stations then a local taxi to the hotel. We did use a hotel ordered shuttle to return to CGG since we had control over time. Edgar

Edgar's right. A private shuttle may be the most expensive option for getting into the city from CDG. Of course it depends on what you're paying. But a regular taxi may well be less expensive and will give you the same door-to-door service. And the RER, Roissybus, or Air France bus will absolutely be less expensive.

When we were in Paris in 2010 and 2011, we had our hotel order a prearranged taxi for us. The hotel uses a particular taxi service, which is dependable and honest. The Hotel Le Littre (6th arron.) took care of the bookings. We were met by a driver, after we picked up our luggage. It was a prearranged price to/from CDG. We paid the drivers directly. We didn't have to worry about traffic, with the meter running either, as it was arranged in advance. In fact, on one return trip, my husband forgot our passports in the hotel safe. The driver just turned around and took us back to the hotel. My husband tipped the driver extra for his inconvenience.

Elaines option to book a private transfer through a hotel is by far the most expensive, I believe she said it cost almost 100 euros once.. thats pretty rich for many travellers.
I can suggest two other options,, both cheaper and just as safe.. Take a regular taxi from the taxi stand, will run you 45-55 euros. They are regulated , licenced and metered.. there is a proper taxi stand with an employee who will assign you a proper licenced taxi,, do not go with any taxi driver that approaches you in the terminal saying "taxi?" .. just go to the taxi stand. You can also take the RER .. its 9.50 euros. Its perfectly safe, but not as convenient becuase it depends on your hotels location, you may have to transfer to metro line,, this is not a big deal for most adults, but if you have a lot of luggage, small children, or mobilty issues this can be a bit harder. There are stairs sometimes to deal with and a bit more walking. The shared shuttle companies almost all of them get bad reviews,, I would never, ever pay in advance for them, way too many stories of people not finding them there, then company insisting they were there and refusing to refund you.. or they make you wait .. up to an hour.. then there is the shared ride aspect where you are dropping off alot of other people.. or waiting for shuttle to fill before they leave. For most people after a long flight they just want to get to their hotel.
