Has anybody flown on Condor (affiliated with Lufthansa) from North America to Frankfurt?
Their carry on weight limit is 6 kg (13 lbs) and it should fit under the front seat!! The dimentions of the luggage are same as on the other airlines.
How strictly the weight limit is enforced? We are planning to take only carry on luggage with us.
Thanks for any input.

If you ask any airline how strictly they enforce the carry on weight limit they will tell you they enforce it strictly and consistantly. As an airline worker I know that this is not always the case. It all depends on the cargo in the hold and load distribution across the cabin. As Condor is the charter arm of Lufthansa it is unlikely they will be carring a large fuel payload. So the answer to the question is that it all depends on how many passengers there are on the flight, what additional cargo they are carrying over and above normal hold baggage, how much excess baggage they have taken on board and the weight distribution of the cabins and hold. In other words you could get lucky ( everyone does from time to time ) but if you're luck is out on the day you are most likely going to have to put your bags in the hold. It's all down to decissions made by check-in staff just before they open the flight to passenger check-in.
