Hi, I understand that the maximum dimension allowed on Ryanair is: 55cm x 40cm x 20cm and Easyjet is: 56x45x25cm. But my duffel bag is actually: 55cm x 28cm x 30cm. Does this mean it would not be allowed as a carry-on luggage? It can be carried as a bag and I do not plan to fill it all the way full so I am wondering if they would be strict about it. Thanks all!
Of all the times I've flown EasyJet this past year, I've never had to put my bag in the metal sizing bin. The one time I flew Ryanair, they made everyone place their bag in the metal siwing bin.
If you have a soft duffle bag and don't pack it fully, you'll be able to manouever it into the metal sizing bin without a problem. As long as you can fit it into their sizers, the dimensions don't mater.
