We've never rented/driven a car in Europe, and don't plan to do so in the future, after our travel to France next year. Have never used a GPS except what's in the Prius and on the iPhone 5, so would like to have old fashioned maps too. We plan to rent a car in Paris, drive to Bayeux, then to Mont St-Michel, then down to Dordogne region (Sarlat area), then over to Bordeaux, where we'll drop car off, then fly to Paris and back to U.S. 1. What type GPS unit should we buy or rent before we leave the U.S.? (Given unlikely future use renting makes more sense..maybe?) 2. Are the Michelin maps for France: one each for entire country, Normandy area, and Dordogne area sufficient? 3. Any other driving tips? Nancy
