I know how to take the train from Rome to Naples, however, there will be three of us and we will be exhausted from traveling from the states. Can anyone recommend a safe and reliable car service which can pick us up at FCO on Saturday morning and transport us to a home on the outskirts of Naples? If so, what is the cost?
joanne, I don't know the cost, but suspect it's NOT going to be cheap! I hope you have a large travel budget. Good luck!
If you look at CruiseCritic.com on their Italy Ports board http://tinyurl.com/bwqtmhk, you will find information about car services that take people from the airport to the port of Civitavecchia. I'd start with some of these, e-mailing them to see what they would charge from FCO to Naples. I know Romeinlimo is repeatedly mentioned as one service people use, but there are others. And as Ken said, expect it to be expensive (I'd guess several hundred euros, but that is just a guess).
It will be approx 300 Euro ($400) for up to 3 passengers.

Ouch! Take the train into Termini and transfer to a fast train. 20 minutes into Termani and 2 hours on a train will save you big money.
The fast train from Roma Termini to Napoli Centrale will take about 1.25 hours.
The train from FCO to Roma Termini is 32 minutes. The Freccia train from Roma Termini to Naples is exactly 70 minutes. From the airport to Roma Termini however, you could also take a taxi. The price of a taxi would be about the same as the Leonardo Express for three people.
