We are going to be in Orveito for 2 days and would like to make a day trip to visit a winery outside Montalcino. We need a car to do lunch and tour. I need to know the approx. driving time between the two towns and also would appreciate any advice on renting a car in Orvieto. Thanks

Gretchen, For driving in Italy, don't forget the compulsory I.D.P. and be sure to research the topic of ZTL areas (which seem to be increasingly prevalent in many Italian towns.
