Car rental return Saint Pierre des Corps or is it Tours?

Hi all - hubby and I will be renting a car for our visit to Dordogne and Loire Valley. I am planning on using Auto Europe because we used them last year and were very pleased.

We want to return the car in Saint Pierre, then take a train to CDG for our flight home the following day. On the Auto Europe website, I enter Saint Pierre des Corps train station, but when it shows the locations available, it says Tours.

So, would we then need to take the train from there to get to CDG? Looks like it then stops at Saint Pierre and we would have to transfer. Or do we drop the car at Tours and take a taxi to Saint Pierre?

I’m very confused. Thanks for your help

Auto Europe is not a car rental agency, it is a 3rd party site that books cars using actual rental companies. So which company are you getting the car from? Perhaps you meant Europcar? St Pierre des Corps is in Tours. Europcar has offices there as well as in the city. St Pierre des Corps also has offices for Hertz and Sixt (and at least one other- Avis??).

In the drop off box, try entering Gare de St Pierre Des Corps

I'm not seeing that "switch." On Auto Europe, if I slowly start to type Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (dashes might help), it offers the location of "Gare de Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (TGV)." Search results on my test date are from Hertz, Europcar, or Sixt, but Avis also has an office there.

There are train connectionss from the central station of Tours, but that's less convenient than driving to the station you want.

Guess I did a poor job wording my question. Yes, I realize AutoEurope is a third party agency. I’m using AutoEurope and selecting a car from Europcar.

In my search, I enter Saint Pierre des Corps as the drop off location, along with the dates. I then get the screen where I select which rental agency I want to use. I select Europcar. The next screen shows the drop off location and Tours Rail Station-IKC is the only choice.

Thanks all.

Is your return date a Sunday? The St PdC agencies are all closed that day.
