We are spending a week near Malaga, Spain and will be picking up a rental car. In my search I discovered a company called Holiday Autos, but I don't see them listed as one of the companies located at the airport. They have the cheapest rate. Has anyone rented a car from them? How was the experience?
Holiday is a consolidator, the worst in the world. Carry it through a bit further and see who the try to foist you off upon. Then come back if you have more questions. I've only tried them twice and both times gotten thoroughly screwed. Good luck. I shall pray for you and yours. Others may join in, if desire.
Wow... thanks Ed! I believe in that old mantra "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is." Looking at going with one of the big guys, and we get a pretty good discount through USAA. I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Try kayack and see what happens. Also there's a couple of independents of the type out in K-town that we've used in Rota. If my brain gets itself in gear I'll come back.
Hi,take a look at malagacarhire.com website. We have used this company many times over the years and would recommend. Based in the UK they have a broker with Niza cars.
Well worth getting a quote from.
Have rented a car from Malaga at the train station. We used autoeurope which gave us a great rate and the actual car company was Hertz. A great experience. Be sure and obtain from AAA your International Drivers Permit ($20) which is required in Spain. A huge cash fine if you are pulled over and do not have one. Be sure and take photos of the car at pick up and drop off.
