car rental location in Paris

We will be spending 7 days in Paris then driving to Honfluer/Bayeux/St. Malo, etc for 6 days. Any suggestions on the best place to pick up the car. We were thinking CDG because we'll fly out the day following our rental return.

CDG would be fine. You can avoid Paris traffic on your way to Normandy. But you shouldn't have trouble picking up in one location in France and dropping in another.
