Has anyone use Vueling (the same company that is a cheap airline) to rent a car. I usually use Autoeurope, but Vueling was so much cheaper. Any problems or tips I could use before I rent from them.
Jack, if you prefer AutoEurope, get the quote from Vueling for the exact dates and car you want (and the phone number & person you talked to) and then call AutoEurope and tell them about the deal you are getting from Vueling. They will match it, however, they will call and talk to Vueling to make sure your quote from them is legit. By the way, what website did you use for rental cars from Vueling? Good luck.
Thanks for the info. I went to the regulare Vueling site, www.vueling.com, that one uses to get A/L tickets. Just click on cars and go from there. I did notice one difference at the initial stage- you pick pickup and drop locations, but they do not give exactly where they were, like autoeurope does.
I forgot to mention. Vueling had something that was very good. It did not charge for a one way rental. I am renting in Barcelona and dropping in Sevilla, with no additional charge. When I rent from Autoeurope there is usually an extra charge (sometimes there is not an extra charge). I like what I see on Vueling, but have never used it and was hoping someone out there has actually used them.
Vueling uses Holiday Autos, a broker based in Britain and well-established. Once you get into the booking process, it should list where they can be picked up....they'll give you a pretty specific area to start with, then the location once you choose the vehicle you want.
I've used carjet.co.uk before with success. But this time, I may try novacarhire.com....their rates are stunning!
