I am having difficulty finding a car rental agency that has a vehicle large enough for 6 adults w/luggage and will allow pick-up in Beziers and drop off in Versailles. They either have no large vehicles, are already booked for large vehicles or do not allow drop off at a different destination. I have tried Avis, Hertz, and Europcar. Does anyone know of another car rental agency in Beziers or of another location close by. We will be returning from a canal trip to Port Cassafieres and need to probably taxi to a location where we can pick up a car and work our way to Normandy and then Versailles to spend the last few days in Paris. We are making stops at Sarlat, Azay-le-Rideau, Mont. St. Michel, Bayeux and then Paris. Any other suggestions on how/where to rent a car would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If you keep hitting a brick wall, Montpellier is just up the road. They'll have a much larger selection - - send an envoy to get the car and scoot back for the mob.

The one-way rental seems to be a bigger issue with this (rare) size of vehicle than it is with smaller, more interchangeable vehicles. You might call AutoEurope at 888-223-5555 and see what a live agent can find for you and how high the drop-off fee is. Two smaller cars are easier to find and may cost the same.
