We are arriving in France April 23 and renting a car at the Charles DeGaule Airport---The company is Avis---We are wondering if they have shuttles to the rental car spots (we know the airport is very large and we're not sure if you walk or shuttle or if you need to take a taxi)Thank you for any help you might be able to give us. Also, do you think liability and collision are enough or should we add more coverage? Corinne

Most car rental companies at CDG put their cars in the garage. Counters are in the terminal and they'll tell you where to go.
If your CC company doesn't provide coverage (check, if you have a "Gold" card or similar it should) you should pay the extra fee for liability because little door dings are common in France and you don't want to get nailed for the cost.
