Looking for car park locations and driving directions. Am staying at villa about 16 miles south of Florence. What is the cost and can I make reservations for parking spots?

Yes, we will be going into Florence for the day from the villa. I got the names of some parking locations but am not sure where they are located or how to get to them.

With all the parking problems in Florence Id askthe person I rented from where they would park.They may know a place nearby where you can park easily and train into Florence.

Hi Susan, There is a parking garage in the basement of the train station in Florence, although I went around the (big) block a few time before I found the entrance. If memory serves me, with the help of Google Earth, I think the entrance is on Via Luigi Alamanni.
