Canine trans-atlantic journey, anyone?

I just read this story in the New York Times this morning, and it made me smile. It's a really sweet story about a woman (author and illustrator) who was moving to Scotland from the states, and needed a way to bring her ten-year-old rescue dog along. She opted for a spot on the Queen Mary 2, and wrote and illustrated this story about the trip.

Ha ha, Nigel! But that is the reason that I don't have a dog right now. It's enough to worry about kids, much less a pet.

Once I'm out of this house and back on my own and my daughter is out of med school and the kids are older, I might get a dog. Then I'll drop it off at my daughter's house while I go travel. 😊

Mardee, thanks for sharing. Poor Tintin!

I loved following Barley's Adventures. That sweet boy was well traveled.
