Hi, I'm travelling from Tarifa up to Madrid and I see there is a five hour train from Algeciras to Madrid - any sugestions on a way to fly there that might be quicker?

The nearest airports are Gibraltar, Jerez, Malaga and Seville. By the time you have made your way by whatever transport to any of these, negotiated the airports at either end and made your way to wherever in Madrid it would surely be a greater time or very similar. You can do your research for flights with several 'engines' like skyscanner.net ' I see there is a five hour train from Algeciras to Madrid' - not sure if you have enough info. - two journeys a day direct.
