Can I buy all these tickets at the tourist center at CDG when I arrive?

I was wondering if I can buy the following tickets when I arrive at CDG:

  1. RER from CDG-Paris
  2. RER frm Paris-CDG
  3. Museum Pass
  4. RER from Orly-Paris
  5. Forfait de chateau de versailles 6 carnay

My husband and I will be traveling Sept 5-18. This will be our first time in Europe and I don't know if the tickets have expiration date. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Numbers 1 - 4 you can definitely get at the airport. Number 5 I'm not sure about, but the tourist information desk can either sell it to you or point you in the right direction.

The Museum Pass does not have an expiration date and the rail tickets might, but its likely 1 year from purchase or some similarly long time, so you won't have an issue.

The Carnet (10 Metro tickets) can also be purchased at the same ticket counter as your RER tickets. The Museum pass is sold at the TI. You will pass the TI on the way to the RER station.

Which of those days between September 5 and 18 will you be in Paris? If your time there falls on the right days of the week, a weekly Carte Orange loaded on a passe Navigo Decouverte card for each of you may be a better deal than sharing tickets from a carnet. However, if you plan to walk a lot, then carnets will work well.

Thanks for all your input! I meant 'carnet':-) I have been practicing my French and didn't realize I wrote it as 'carnay'... Anyway, we will be arriving on Sept 6 (Sat) but will only be in Paris until the 9th. I have a conference in Nice and on our way back to Houston, we plan to go to Versailles. We plan to stay there overnight. Again, thanks a lot!

You can buy the Forfait Loisirs for Versailles at any Transilien SNCF ticket office. There should be one at each CDG RER station.
