Buying Large Group Rail Tickets--England

Hi! I am taking a group of 25 high school seniors to England next year. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to purchase train tickets (i.e. London to Canterbury, Windsor, etc.) for a large group of this size? Most of the web sites will not let you purchase large quantities (over 8 or so) in advance. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Cheers! Fletcher

I cannot address your specific question but years ago when I was doing some convention planning, I would call the HQ and ask for group sales. At least in the US, there is always someone in sales/marketing who works with large groups. Most of the British rail is owned by private companies so you would need to ID the company and contact directly. There are a couple of Brits that post on this site who will be helpful, I am sure.

If you know which segments you intend (I take your examples as examples?) let me know and I can give you which company and contact information.
