Silly me! Leaving for Paris,8/15 staying two days (I have been there before)and wanted to visit Eiffel tower 8/16. Everything is sold out at the Tower (tickets office) and have tried 3 websites with tour operators--ALL sold out till September.
Anyone knows of a tour operator that may still have tickets? Or if I just go to the second level, do I have to wait on line? ARRRRGGG! Any information? Never been up the Tower, and this time I do want to go up, even it its only the second level. I would appreciate it. Thank you. Vivien
You will have to wait in line. The problem is that two of the four elevators have been broken for some time. One of those elevators services the restaurant exclusively. That leaves just one elevator to the second level. So the tickets have been selling out much much earlier. You can sill wait in line. I suggest very early in the morning, if you don't want to wait hours. Choosing to climb rather than ride will also make the line much shorter for you. natively, and much more expensively, you could get reservations to eat at the restaurant. Menu Re-server Admittedly it's more expensive, but there a few places with your date left.
