Buy Swiss Half Fare Card on-line or on the Train?

I have already booked my half-fare tickets from Basel to Lauterbrunnen. Can I buy the Half Fare Card on-line and print it immediately? Alternately, can I buy it on the train or should I buy it in the station? Do we need only one card for a family or do we need one per passenger?

Is it also possible to buy the card anywhere in Paris or London?

Thanks a lot.

Each person must have their own card (unless they are under 16, and then you should get a Family Card so they travel free).

You should buy the cards at the station before you board the train---otherwise the conductor could think you are trying to cheat and fine you.

I don't know that you can buy this anywhere in Paris or London. Check on the Swiss Travel System website for buying online--I don't think there is a "print" option, so they may have to mail the passes and charge shipping.
