I will be in Florence and I am debating between buying a 3 day bus pass. I will need it to get to my hotel from the station, and I also want to go to Fiesole (3 major lines cover both--#7, #12, #13). I know that 3 days is 12 EUR, according to "Rick Steves' Italy 2008. My question is if I buy the 3 day bus pass, does that include every bus line for the three days, or is it 12 EUR per line for the 3 days?

According to the ATAF website, multiple day tickets permit travel on the entire ATAF&LINEA network except for the Florence aiport shuttle bus. The ticket should include buses to Fiesole. A 3-day ticket expires at midnight on the 3rd day.
