Buses to Florence Italy city center from Vespucci Airport

There appears to be two bus lines that run directly from the airport to the city center, a city bus nr 62 that stops at the train station and Sita bus that stops at the bus station near the train station. Are there any advantages of one over the other in terms of travel times and convenience of luggage storage?

I have only taken the SITA bus but found it very convenient. Its been two years but at that time you still needed to validate your ticket and I would assume it still is that way. The bus had enough room for luggage but of course the less you are lugging the happier you will be.

Have only taken the SITA bus, which was very convenient. It's an express, and it stopped at the side of the train station last time I took it. Previous time, I think it stopped across the street from the station. City bus probably makes stops along the route and takes longer.

You do need to validate tickets on the city bus (#62). There's a little yellow machine onboard. The city bus also makes other stops to and from the airport. The SITA bus is not a city bus and is more direct.
