How far ahead should one book intercity buses for April to early May travel from Salamanca to Santander, and Santander to San Sebastian to assure places at specific times?

I believe the buses in Spain don't book more than 30 days out, but maybe someone here can confirm.

maybe 1 day in advance is enough. the buses are pretty frequent, so if you arrive at the bus station early to get ticket you'll be ok too. depending on the route and time of the day, buses can be busy or you may find just yourself on it.
