My wife and I will be traveling to Germany and Norway in May and June of 2008. Some of the towns we would like to visit are not on rail routes and would like to know about bus travel. Are most towns connected by buses (especially in Germany) and where can I get schedules for them?

Use www.bahn.de . It will give you bus connections if they are needed to reach your destination.
