we are trying to find out about bus travel from Paris CDG airport to Beaune and then to Marseille but have found nothing when we google it. help!

so are there any good car rental deals in France in March/April? We will have a Eurail pass but it has only a limited number of days and we will be in Europe for 42 days so we are trying not to use it for short hops.

For car rental see Auto Europe. Call their US toll-free number and ask if there are any special deals that don't appear on their Web site.

The train to Beaune can be a very good value, especially if it will save gas, tolls, and a day of car rental. Less so if there are many people in your party.
It is as fast or faster than driving from CDG, depending on your timing, and arguably a better option after a long flight that might entail jet lag.
You can rent a car, or bicycles, in Beaune.
