Bus travel from Prague to Vienna

Have any of you had experience with bus travel from Prague to Vienna. It's definitely a lot cheap than the train and just as fast. I was thinking about using StudentAgency and it's 16 Euros. Also, if I do choose this option should I be getting tickets in advance and roughly how long ahead of time. Thank you!

Also, if train in the better option what is the best way to get a. train ticket? Someone suggested buying a ticket from the Berlin train station. I've also heard of people just buying the ticket at the Prague train station. Other wise I have had extreme difficulty finding a way to purchase a ticket in advance for this route online. I've found people suggesting links or website and when I try them it tells me tickets are no longer available for this journey or that it's not possible to get a ticket online. I'm not needing the ticket until August 11th so I doubt the train is full. I would like to buy the ticket in advance if possible to get a better rate since I'm not getting a rail pass.

After learning that you can book Vienna-Prague SparSchiene fare tickets online but not Prague-Vienna, I'm the person who suggested that you buy your ticket in Berlin. I don't know if German Rail can sell you a €29 SparSchiene discount fare ticket, even if there are some left when you get to Berlin. (My guess is that they cannot since it is an Austrian Rail special offer.) However, I can tell you that the standard 2nd class fare is €59.

You can travel by Eurolines bus. Choose Austria as your country of departure even though you're leaving from Prague and you will be able to book in English and print your own ticket. Discount fares start at around €21.

While looking at bus options I stumbled upon czech-transport.com and it seems I can buy a train ticket from Prague to Vienna from them as well as bus tickets and such. The ticket costs 30 Euros. I haven't bought it yet but I got as far as having to enter my passport info and personal info so it looks promising. Yay!
