From Saanig (Sanok, Poland) to Amsterdam it would be a 15 hours nonstop private car drive. Now obviously busses don't go nonstop and don't take the most direct route as they depend on picking up and dropping off passengers in major cities more or less along the road. It would be a very, very long road trip, which is why I'd consider flying at least for the "long-haul" part of the journey...

Check with www.eurolines.pl for bus routes. Consider searching for Sanok to Berlin and then Berlin to Amsterdam. Alternatively check for low cost flights from Rzeszow or Krakow to Amsterdam or Cologne, Düsseldorf, Brussels etc. There is a Ryanair flight from Rzeszow to Frankfurt-Hahn from where there is bus service to Cologne. From there you could catch a train to Amsterdam (www.bahn.de).

The Ryanair site does NOT show a flight from Rzeszow to Frankfurt-Hahn.

You could fly from Krakow to Paris CDG on easyJet or from Krakow to Paris Orly on transavia and then take a Eurolines bus from Paris to Amsterdam, either during the day or overnight. However, if you book far enough in advance (up to 90 days allowed) at www.thalys.com, you can get a discount train ticket as low as €25 for Paris-Amsterdam and make the trip in half the time.

Well, then obviously the Hahn flight is only offered during summer months. Anyway, also check with wizzair.com, they serve Eindhoven from Krakow among others. Skyeurope.com fly to several European destinations via Bratislava from Kosice, Slovakia.

Andreas, your suggestion of Krakow-Eindhoven on wizzair looks like the best choice if flying.
