HELP! I had found a site that had mini-bus transports for 6-8 people with a driver to take us from fussen to Innsbruck, but now I can't find their site. I don't want to take the 4 hour train ride to innsbruck when its just a 1 hour ride from Oberammergau. Can you help me find a bus company that just does point to point driving. I tried eurolines but I can't figure out their website, there is no way to check lines without booking. I was also looking for this same service from innsbruck to oberammergau as well. any help would be appreciated. Krystene

No need for it to take that long from Fuessen. Bus over the border to Reutte then 2:20 (every 2 hours) to Innsbruck by train with an easy change in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and another in Mittenwald.

"when its just a 1 hour ride from Oberammergau" ViaMichelin (which is usually optimistic) gives the driving time from Oberammergau to Innsbruck as 1½ hours. I had no trouble finding schedules and cost for Eurolines without booking, but the closest "from" to Füssen is Munich, and, for "To: Austria" it only goes to Vienna. Verkehrverbund Tirol (www.vvt.at) shows scheduled bus connections from Reutte to Innsbruck in a little as 2¼ hours with one change.
