planning to travel from paris to geneva and zurich-is there slower train or bus travel so you get to see the countryside?

How much time do you have to do this? Do you end up in Zurich?

Go to Deutsche Bahn website and input your endpoints and check the box "local transport only". You can turn a 3 hour TGV nonstop into a 9 1/2 hour 3 change marathon. The "slow" trains in that direction leave out of Paris Bercy.
