I can not find timetables for busses running from Florence to Pisa or Lucca?
The train connections are few and far between.
Any suggestions?

Cindy - The SITA bus runs a route through Chianti - there is a detailed website with good schedules - it just takes a moment to figure them out. Have fun!

The link for Sita buses is http://www.sitabus.it; The train from Florence to Pisa is your best bet, about an hour, direct and many per day.
