What's the best way to go about getting a bus ticket? Should I wait till I get there or try to book one now?? Any websites?

Eurolines (www.eurolines.com) has bus service Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The fare is 29€ plus a 3€ booking fee.
Take the train! Booked well in advance (up to 90 days allowed) at www.bahn.de, you can get a Europa-Spezial fare of 19€ and make the trip in 2hr37min on a high-speed ICE train.

should i call those places? because when i was checking out prices, bus tickets were 70 something euros and train tickets were 100 euros, but everyone has told me they are way cheaper!!

We arrive in Cologne, Ger about 8:45am April 17th. So anytime after then, we need to go to Amsterdam anytime after that, and then we need to return to Cologne that following Tuesday APril 22 anytime.
