Help! We're going to Spain and Morocco in a few weeks and trying to plan our journey... Having trouble figuring out if there are busses between Seville and Tarifa that operate on Saturday morning. I've checked the tgcomes.com website and although it appears there is a bus that exists between these two cities, when I enter in our travel dates it will not verify that it runs on Saturday August 25th. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Eccentricity you will regularly find with on line provision of bus schedules in Spain. You did not provide the link, but presumably you are looking at this - http://www.tgcomes.es/horarios_33.htm - it says daily and I would not be concerned, it's been running at the scheduled times for years.
Thank you! That's reassuring! :)
Additionally - if you want peace of mind and presuming you are spending time in Seville, go to the bus station and purchase a day or two before.
My technique is to check schedules on arrival, so you have a good idea what the options are. The evening before you're ready to leave, stop by the station and buy your tickets. They are always cheap so you don't have to buy early, buying the evening before ensures you have your tickets, in case the bus sells out (which is rare but can happen). After that you don't need to show up really early, 20-30 minutes is what I plan on and that's plenty. I rode AVE for the first time in April (Cordoba to Madrid), they wouldn't even let you through security until about 15 minutes before your train.
