I would like to take the bus from Rome to Sorrento? Does anyone know the schedule from Tiburtina Metro to Sorrento?

Yep. CLICK HERE to see the schedule. Only two buses a day. Much more flexibility on the train. But, your choice.

If you take the train from Rome to Naples you can take a Hydrofoil (really fast boat) from there over to Sorrento in 30 minutes.

Yes, Gina, but the trip from the train station to the hydrofoil docks takes time and then you have to wait for the boat. It would be faster to take the Circumvesuviana from the Naples train station to Sorrento.
