Cruise ship comes to port of Piraeus, and I want to get the bus right out of the pier to get to the train to take the rail to Athens. Forgot from 5 years ago and can't find my notes. Thanks
Susan, I do not remeber seeing a bus when we were tehre. We walked.
There may be buses or shuttles to the station, but it is not that far of a walk either. You could also opt for a Cab. The Train is actually part of the Metro system, with a couple convienent stops near the Plaka and Symtagna Square.
The train is part of the metro system in Athens. The port terminal for cruise ships is about mile or so from the stations so it is a good walk. There is a bus that runs along the street to the station. Don't remember the number but the bus stop is slight south and across the street from the cruise terminal. Ask someone in the terminal.
