How can I get the bus schedule from Fontainebleau to Barbizon so we don't have to go on a tour and have only 5 hours in the afternoon? We would like to take the train in the morning to Fontainebleau, go to Barbizon for lunch and sightsee there and return to Paris by the train at Fontainebleau in the afternoon. We heard the bus to and from Barbizon only runs twice a day. Is this schedule possible?

I did a google search in both English and French and found no reference to a public bus. (Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean there isn't one.)
I suggest that you send an e-mail to the Fontainebleau Tourist Office, info@fontainebleau-tourisme.com. Ask about bus service and taxi service to Barbizon.
