We are actually wanting to go from Cordoba to Ronda, but because we can't take an early train out of Cordoba (long story), we wouldn't get in to Ronda until 7:00 pm. We can make the train from Cordoba to Antequera, leaves Cordoba at 1:24. Then we would take the bus to Ronda, arriving at 3:45.
Has anyone out there taken this bus? Are the busses typically large "Greyhound" type or just small local busses? Just wondering if this is an ok way to go.

The buses that the railway is using for replacement services are large and comfortable. See also https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/spain/train-granada-to-ronda. I also don't think there's anything wrong with arriving in Ronda at 7 p.m. by the direct train. It's not yet dinner time in Spain.
Thanks Laura. Our plans to go to Ronda were added after we purchased our train tickets to Cordoba. We were originally going to do Ronda as a day trip from Cordoba, but with train schedules, we would only be in Ronda 4 hours. So decided to take one night from Cordoba and spend it in Ronda.
We arrive in Cordoba from Madrid at 11:42 am. So, we can store our luggage in Cordoba and have lunch and explore a while and take the train that leaves for Ronda at 5:00 or take an earlier train/bus that would get us to Ronda a few hours earlier. Since we are only there one night, thinking we want to get there as early as we can. Which would you do?
