My brother-in-law and wife are looking for less pricey round trip flight MVD (Montevideo, Uruguay) to Venice, Italy. Any ideas. I'll appreciate that!! THANKS, John
I'd use Kayak.com to monitor flights from Montevideo to Venice. Also, look at the cheapest flight to either Milan, Bologna, or Verona - then train to Venice. In any case, it looks like a long flight time...
Thank you Sharon for your reply. Yes, its definitely a long haul, but flight prices used to be almost identical as the US base rates. Now there with some of the traditional Airlines flying from Montevideo out of the picture, like Alitalia, Varig (Brazilian) it is gettying really hard for them to find budget prices. In any case, will continue the research.
Would it be cost effective for them to fly to the US to leave from Philly or NYC?
Thank you Sharon for your email.
They are considering that option, since they've been traveling to the U.S. multiple time in the last 40 or so years. I'll keep you posted of this incredible quest! (It seems like one anyways!)
