During our trip in May 2009 we are planning to fly Venice to Budapest (Wizz Air is only budget option the date we want) and Budapest to Prague (Click4Sky is the only budget option the date we want) and am trying to decide between a budget airline or Malev Hungarian.
I didn't think Malev was an option until I checked yesterday.
Wizz Air was pricing about $90pp (I think I have included all the fees...) and Malev is showing $188pp inclusive and more than one option that day. Malev was showing about $600pp.
Click4Sky is showing $148pp (hopefully including all fees) and Malev is now showing $277 inclusive with more than one option during the day. Malev was showing about $700pp.
I've never flown a budget airline and I have read mixed reviews - some positive and some negative. I'm wondering people's thoughts on the budget airlines versus Malev Hungarian and whether the higher cost for Malev is worth it or not. Thanks!
