Budapest to Krakow travel

What is the best way to travel from Budapest to Krakow in May 2010? The only airline seems to be Lot which isn't cheap and not a direct flight. Is there an overnight train and how much would it be for two people in a sleeper? What about the bus -Orangeways?

I took the overnight train from Krakow to Budapest and it was great. I had a rail pass so I can't answer you on how much it was though. I have talked to other travelers who took the bus and they all loved it. They said they play English movies, is airconditioned and the seats are very cushy.

We traveled on the overnight train in May 09 and, if memory serves me correctly, two tickets for a 6 berth couchette were 78 Euro total. A two berth private sleeper would be considerably more. I've heard good things about Orangeways, but the buses don't run as often as the train so you'll have to work your schedule around theirs.
