I am trying to find the cheapest way to get from Brussels to Prague. I looked the airlines they semed pricy, Wizz Air was in Sterling, expsensive. Is there a cheap railway ticket I can get from Brussels to Prague & back? Only staying in Prague for 6 days to see family.

Mark, you don't say when your trip is but I went to skyscanner.com and found a flight that is US$165 in May which takes an hour & a half. Didn't take the time to find the cost of trains and buses but they take 10-11 hours.
I like to check the travel duration, changes and costs on skyscanner.com and whichbudget.com vs trains. Since my time (& probably yours too!) is extremely valuable, that helps me decided if the cost is worth it. (Also for flights I keep in mind the travel time to the airport as well as the pre-flight time necessary to be at the airport and the hassles with the weight of my carry-on etc.)

I flew from Brussels to Prague with Wizz Air, and had a positive experience (especially only for 20 Euro!). The only downside is that Wizz flies out of Brussels-Charleroi, which is about an hour south of Brussels, but there is a very handy shuttle that runs from the Midi station right to the airport for 13 Euro.

Oops, I meant Budapest, not Prague. But I can't imagine it can be that much more expensive to fly to Prague instead of Budapest.
