brussels or amsterdam to birmingham

I hope you have an insight for me. What would you suggest is the cheap(est) way to go from Brussels or Amsterdam to Birmingham? I am having a hard time reading some links of European transportation, especially trains. Oct is when I'm going. Many thanks, Gayle

Unless you can find a very cheap airfare I would have thought that the very cheapest might be hitching, but the safer cheapest option is probably Eurolines bus to London then Megabus from London to Birmingham. If you don't want Megabus there are some reasonable fares on National Express. All these have websites easily found with Google.
